Ask ten companies about website cost in Pakistan and you will get ten different answers, sometimes ten times apart. Part of that is fair, because a five-page business site and a large online store are very different jobs. Part of it is that quotes do not always include the same things. Here is what companies publish, what moves the price and how to compare the quotes you get.

Website cost in Pakistan: published price ranges
These figures come from price guides published by GoDaddy, AAMAX, SW3 Solutions and HosterPK, which we read in November 2026. They are those companies' own estimates, some of them are from earlier years, and they do not always agree. Use them to get a feel for the range, not as fixed prices.
| Type of website | Published range (PKR) |
|---|---|
| Basic business site | 20,000 to 80,000 |
| WordPress site | 20,000 to 100,000 |
| Custom-designed business site | 80,000 to 350,000 |
| Small to medium online store | 50,000 to 300,000 |
| Large or advanced online store | 300,000 to 1,000,000 or more |
| Custom web app or SaaS platform | 300,000 to 3,000,000 or more |
What moves the price
- Number of pages. More pages mean more design, more content and more testing.
- Template or custom design. A good template is often enough for a new business. Custom design takes longer because someone is designing it just for you.
- Selling online. Payment gateways, cash on delivery, courier rates, stock and order management all take time to set up and test.
- Content. If you supply the text and photos, you pay less. If the agency writes them, it should be in the quote.
- Custom features. Booking systems, customer portals and anything else that is not a standard plugin are built by hand.
The yearly costs people forget
A website is not a one-time payment. These costs come back, and they are often missing from a low quote.
- Domain name. Published prices run from about PKR 1,000 to 5,000 a year, depending on the extension.
- Hosting. Basic shared hosting runs from about PKR 2,500 to 10,000 a year. Busy stores need more.
- Themes and plugins. GoDaddy lists premium themes at PKR 7,000 to 15,000 and paid plugins at PKR 2,000 to 10,000, and some of these renew every year.
- Shopify fees. If you choose Shopify, there is a monthly fee in US dollars, so the cost in rupees moves with the exchange rate.
- Updates and backups. WordPress sites need regular updates. Either you do them, or you pay someone to.
How to compare quotes
Do not just compare the totals. Ask each company the same questions:
- Exactly how many pages and rounds of changes are included?
- Who writes the text, and who supplies the photos?
- Will the domain and hosting be registered in my name?
- What will renewals cost next year?
- Can I update the site myself, and will you show me how?
- What happens if something breaks after launch?
Be careful with the domain in particular. We regularly meet business owners whose domain was registered in a former developer's name, and getting it back can be a real headache. Our guide on WordPress or Shopify can also help if you are not sure which platform to choose.

Common questions
What is the cheapest way to get a website in Pakistan?
A template on WordPress or a website builder. GoDaddy's guide puts a small business site on a builder at PKR 15,000 to 20,000. Cheap can be fine, as long as the domain is in your name and you can update the site.
How much does an online store cost in Pakistan?
Published guides start at about PKR 50,000 for a small store. One puts stores at PKR 150,000 and up, and advanced platforms can go past PKR 1,000,000. The number of products and how payments and delivery work make the biggest difference.
Do I have to pay for a website every year?
Yes, for the domain and hosting at least. Published figures are about PKR 1,000 to 5,000 a year for a domain and PKR 2,500 to 10,000 a year for basic hosting. Paid plugins, Shopify fees and maintenance can add to this.
